Investment casting is a high-precision casting technology that forms a shell by making precise wax molds, pouring refractory materials, and then melting the wax molds at high temperature and pouring molten metal to finally obtain high-precision and high-quality castings. This technology is particularly suitable for manufacturing compressor housings with complex shapes and high dimensional accuracy requirements, such as screw compressor housings. Investment casting can not only improve the dimensional accuracy and surface quality of castings, but also achieve accurate replication of complex structures.
In addition to the innovation of casting technology, material selection and optimization are also the key to improving the performance of compressor housings. Modern casting technology usually uses high-strength, high-wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy materials, such as aluminum alloy, cast iron, stainless steel, etc. These materials not only have mechanical properties and corrosion resistance, but also maintain stable performance under extreme working environments.
